Presence in history and appearance in the present[]
In the Hell Dimensions, thirteen demon tribes, including Succubi and Incubi and Rakshasa, warred in and for the fire and brimstone of their home and for demonic warlords. Their exertions pull taut a balance of power across the Hell Dimensions, stretching it between two figureheads. Tears in the fabric of reality open on Solomon Island and in the lonely avenues of the City of the Sun God, spewing forth these demonic invaders.
One faction of demons came to be led by a charismatic but deeply crazed magus named Wicker; over them he held sway with a cult of personality. His goal is to restore the Dimensions to their former, lost glories, and he promises to close the rifts between his adopted land and our world.
The Secret World - Hell Raised - Solo run
In ‘Hell Fallen’, the demons fight in howling deserts beneath a strategically vital plateau.
Wicker and his loyalists are cut off from the front lines by an unexpected counterattack and a siege of their compound by demons and living weapons. The Archaeomachinist unearths ancient ordnance from the wreckage fields and turns them upon his foes. The Myrmidons, an elite squad of Hellish soldiers, stalk the ruins seeking to slay any who might reinforce Wicker's bastion behind the walls of a fortress. Towering biomechanical war machines are attended by Engineers. Feral rakshasa and their mistress, the Executrix, take the field; she orders her mongrels without rest, even after their deaths.
In a final attempt to topple the bastion, three great molten constructs crash to the scorched earth, and a desperate battle begins, before the very Doors of Hell.
Admitted through the portal by Wicker, there is but a brief respite before the storms of war and magic break upon the fortress. With it come the Hell Dimension’s most feared assassins, sent to claim the magus’ head. At the bastion’s highest point, Wicker and his allies fight assassins and the storms.
For the storm is not just an unnatural disaster, but a manifestation of Wicker’s immortal enemy itself. Over the course of the desperate fight, the fortress is lashed by disintegrating winds.
Their efforts spent upon the stronghold, the enemies finally falter, halt, turn, and take flight, leaving victory behind, but also a future that is questionable for Gaia and the Bees and Earth
In the carcass of a colossal city whose factory fires burn on every horizon, great armies and great leaders shall yet strive. There is decided the fate of the Hell Dimensions, and from there they still cast a shadow upon Gaia.
